  • Why can't I enable 3 monitors?
    Because of a limitation in Windows XP you are only able to enable 2 monitors. If you upgrade the operating system to Windows Vista, 7, 8 you will be able to enable 3 monitors.
  • What is the operating temperature of my PNY graphics card?
    Your PNY graphics card temperature will depend greatly on the environment that the card is installed into, case fans, and airflow, however any temperature below 105C or 235F is acceptable for any PNY Graphics card to operate normally.
  • What is the optimal power to run a PNY Verto GeForce Graphics Card?
    Power Supply requirements vary depending on the video card purchased. Please refer to side panel of your graphics card box for the recommended system Power Supply.
  • How can I return, exchange or receive a refund for a defective PNY Graphics Card?
    A refund can be obtained from the retail store where the graphics card was purchased depending on the store's return/exchange/refund policy. PNY Technologies will honor its Product Warranty if an item is defective. Product warranties differ between products and you should consult the box for your product or contact Technical support to determine the warranty policy for your product.
    To exchange the graphics card contact PNY Technical Support at 1-800-234-4597 to obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. NOTE: A copy of the sales receipt is required, as proof of purchase for warranty exchange.
  • How do you Disable Vertical Sync?
    Open your NVIDIA control panel,. Click on manage 3d Settings in the center you will see the various 3d settings. Scroll to the bottom of the list and you will See Vertical Sync. Click on it and choose Force Off. If you notice Tearing in Games Force the Vertical Sync On to resolve it.
  • Does My PNY Graphics Card Support TV Through the VGA connector?
    PNY Does Not Support TV out Via VGA, TV out is limited to cards that have HDMI out and on older PNY graphics cards Svideo/Component Out.
  • Will two different video cards work in SLI?
    No, You must match the video cards to properly implement SLI, the two cards can be from any manufacturer as long as they are the same GPU and memory type. For best results PNY recomends that when possibly try to use two of the same cards from the same manufacturer to avoid problems. For example two 8800 GT 512 MB will work(even if each card is from a different manufacturer) however an 8800 GT will not work with a 8800 GTS as there is a different GPU.
  • Are PNY drivers WHQL certified?
    PNY Uses the Reference NVIDIA drivers from www.nvidia.com, because of this the official drivers are WHQL certified, while the non official are Beta and not WHQL certified.
    Please note that windows XP support from Microsoft has ended and windows XP drivers are no longer WHQL however NVIDIA Certifies the driver releases that not WHQL to work, these drivers are labeled Game Ready Certified drivers instead of WHQL Certified.
  • Which GPUs will support 3D TVs? I checked the NVIDIA website and the GeForce GPUs do not say they support HDMI 1.4a.
    NVIDIA GeForce GPUs have been tested to be compatible with HDMI 1.4a, and will work well with the 3D TVs, including the Panasonic VIERA TVs.

    The following are GPUs supported by NVIDIA 3DTV Play:

    Desktop GPU: GeForce GTX 480, GTX 470 GTX 295, GTX 285, GTX 275, GTX 260, GTS 250, GTS 240, GT 240, and 9800 GT.
  • Will NVIDIA SLI™ technology support surround gaming with 3 or more monitors?
    Yes. Using NVIDIA's 3D Vision Surround technology, it is possible to combine up to 3 monitors and have games detect the three monitors as one single large monitor.

    The following System Requirements are necessary in order to use 3D Vision Surround on your PC:
    Operating System
    Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit
    GPU support (NVIDIA SLI or multi-GPU cards are required)
    SLI Configurations
    o GeForce GTX 480, 470, 285, 280, 275, 260
    Single card
    o GeForce GTX 295
    Motherboard
    SLI Motherboard is required for SLI configuraitons
    The GeForce GTX 295 card works on all motherboards

    o Three displays or projectors synchronized together
    o Landscape and portrait mode
    o All displays must have the same resolution, refresh rate, and sync polarity

    o Landscape mode only for displays, projectors can operate in landscape or portrait mode

  • Why am I not getting sound from my HDMI connector on the video card?
    Certain model PNY video cards have an SPDIF pass through connection. A supplied audio cable must be plugged into the card and onto the corresponding SPDIF out and ground on the motherboard/sound card. Newer PNY graphics cards have an audio chip that will provide the sound over HDMI, during driver installing an additional audio driver will be installed. in both cases once you are ready to switch your sound to HDMI you will need to open your windows sound settings, for the playback setting, you must select NVIDIA HDMI(for a card with the audio chip) or SPDIF/High definition Audio(for cards with SPDIF).
  • Windows 8 no longer play Blu-ray 3D movies.
    Blu-ray 3D players - such as Cyberlink, Roxio, and ArcSoft - need to be updated to support Blu-ray 3D playback on Windows 8. Please consult your software manufacturer to ensure you are using a version that supports Windows 8.
  • Can I enable NVIDIA Surround in windows XP?
    No. NVIDIA Surround is only available in Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems.
